Hill House

GrailCoat was installed on Hill House, in Pacific Palisades, CA (Sharon Johnston, architect). The use of a seamless application of GrailCoat over plywood resulted in a seamless finish. Below is a letter from Sharon Johnston concerning those results.

Dear Don,

It has now been over a year since Bob Snee completed installation of GrailCoat® at Hill House in Pacific Palisades, CA. We have been very pleased with the results. As you know, we undertook an extensive search for a material that would be suitable for a material application to clad walls, sloped roofs, and sills, while maintaining a waterproof barrier, with enough flexibility to avoid the use of control joints. GrailCoat® was able to satisfy all of our requirements and match our custom color requests.

In addition to the results, we were also pleased with the process of working with GrailCoat®. The first mock-ups that you had prepared according to our specifications were extremely helpful for us to understand the great potential for GrailCoat®. Bob Snee was helpful in corresponding with our project architect, Jeff Adams. Bob made himself available to our contractor, Tom Hinerfeld, from Hinerfeld Ward, which we appreciated both during the preparation and installation phases of the job.
